How to request a correction
Email support@whisper-lines.com with "Correction" in the subject. Tell us what was published, where and when, and what is wrong.
What we do
We reply within 2 business days to confirm we received the request.
We review it within 5 business days. Statements about a real person are reviewed first.
If a fact was wrong, we correct it. This covers scores, statistics, injuries, quotes, attributions, and statements about players, coaches or anyone else. The corrected report carries a dated correction note saying what changed; we don't make silent edits.
If a statement about a person can't be supported, we remove it and say so in a dated retraction note.
Social posts can't be edited, so we delete the post and publish the correction from the same account.
What we don't change
Picks and grades stay exactly as they were published, wins and losses alike. If a pick's reasoning contained a factual error, we note the error, and the pick and its result stand. If a pick was graded against a wrong final score, we fix the grade and note it.
Legal claims
If a request claims defamation, infringement or another legal violation, we keep a copy of the content and take it down while we review it. We may involve our attorney and our insurer.
Records
We log every request: the date, who sent it, the item, and the outcome. We keep the log for at least 3 years.
AI-assisted content
Our analysis is drafted with AI tools and reviewed by a person. When an error comes from the drafting step, we also fix the process that produced it.
